Scott Trost is an award-winning film producer. His two production companies – Rucker-Trost Productions and GR8 Films have produced 28 films in a 16-year period.
The film, Twelve, produced by Rucker- Trost productions was awarded the Presidental Innovation award at the 2015 Burbank International Film Festival.
In addition to his work as a producer, Trost has worked as a director on 25 films, as a writer on 17 films and as an actor on over 30 films, including his work on the Oscar-nominated film, Little Surprises.
Trost has written about the entertainment industry, including his book, All You Need to Know About the Movie & TV Business, published by Simon & Schuster. He co-authored the definitive biography of legendary acting teacher, Sanford Meissner, De Tree a We, and an eBook series on the Meissner approach to acting.
Trost is executive director of the Meissner Institute, an international training and research center for the performing arts with affiliates programs in USA, Poland, Turkey, Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, the UK, France, Germany, Greece, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Egypt, the Philippines, and most recently, Kazakhstan.
