N&A Film Productions was founded by producer Nadira Akhonova .

Nadira Akhonova worked as a producer with HBO.
Working together with the English film director Antony Butts (Clarity Productions), she has done a lot on her way to raise the topic of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, ordinary people who suffered as a result of years of nuclear testing. After many years, these tests continue to affect the next generation. This film was broadcast in all cinemas of England. The main heroine and several victims were provided with sponsorship.
The second film was released in 2013 together with HBO under the name «Genetic Passport», which received the «Emmy Award» award.
The main idea of the film is the creation of a genetic passport to all citizens of East Kazakhstan for the birth of a future healthy generation.This film first raises the topic of  creation Genetic Passport in Kazakhstan. This epigenetic damage can be corrected with proper scientific research and genetic analysis of the population. The Polygon region, especially Kainar, Sarzhal, Znamenka, Abay   is not funded sufficiently by the central government to cope with the medical problems and the aim of the film is to spur some concrete improvements for peoples’ lives by stimulating interest in the region. That was the hope that kept Nadira and Antony  making the film for so long.

The next  documentary show “Russian Road Trip” with Vice Media is  about the culture and traditions of Kazakhstan. National games as «Cockpar», «Bayga», «Audaryspak» etc were shown in film. For this purpose, the herds of horses, yurts, and altybakan were involved . The winners were awarded with large prizes.
Also, such traditions as «Kyz Uzatu», «Besikke salu», «Tusau kesu», etc. were shown in the film. The national dishes were prepared.N&A Film Productions is engaged in attracting famous film companies for making documentary and feature films in Kazakhstan in order to develop the film industry, attract the flow of tourists and introduce with the rich nature of Kazakhstan.

    AFTER THE APOCALYPSE

    The film «After the Apocalypse» has an exclusive right to raise the issue of introducing a genetic passport in Kazakhstan and introducing an addition to the «Law on Marriage and Marriage in the Republic of Kazakhstan.» Simultaneously, the film was shown in all cinemas of England, and was broadcast on the channel «More 4» and caused a great public response.

    GENETIC PASSPORT

    The film “Genetic Passport” was broadcast on HBO in March 2014 and nominated an “Emmy Award”.
    From 1949 to 1989, the Soviet Union detonated more than 450 nuclear bombs on the people of Kazakhstan in an area known as the Semipalatinsk Test Site. Hundreds of thousands of Kazakh people suffered from the blasts and, therefore, not only were they exposed to radiation, but it became part of their DNA. More recently, a Kazakh doctor has been trying to implement a mandatory genetic passport, something that would allow the Kazakh people to know if their genes were damaged by the radiation in order to prevent the births of a new generation of deformed children. Thomas Morton goes to Kazakhstan to learn more about this controversial initiative.

    Russıan Road Trıp

    In this three-part documentary, VICE’s Abdullah Saeed, Danielle Neftin, and Dina Rayzman take a road trip through Russia and into Kazakhstan to visit the Polygon and meet the people who still live in Semipalatinsk, despite its nuclear contamination and health risks.
